Refund policy
Effective date: September 4, 2026
This policy applies to consultations, coaching services, courses, and digital preparation materials purchased from Federal Prison Preparation.
Free consultation
The introductory 30-minute consultation is free and does not require payment.
Paid consultations and coaching
- Completed consultations, completed coaching time, and work already performed are nonrefundable.
- If you cancel at least 36 hours before the scheduled start time, you may request a refund for the undelivered service or reschedule the appointment.
- Cancellations made less than 36 hours before the scheduled start time and missed appointments without notice are nonrefundable. The full payment will be retained, and no service credit or complimentary rescheduling will be provided.
- For multi-session services, completed time, delivered materials, and work already performed are nonrefundable. Any approved refund for an unused portion will be calculated after those amounts are deducted.
Rescheduled appointments
A rescheduled appointment must normally take place within 30 calendar days of the original appointment date, subject to mutual availability. Each purchase includes one no-fee reschedule when at least 36 hours’ notice is provided. If I cannot offer a reasonable replacement time within that period, the deadline will be extended. Additional changes may be treated as a cancellation under this policy.
Courses and digital materials
Courses, PDFs, and other digital materials are nonrefundable after access has been provided or the material has been emailed. If a technical problem prevents access, contact me so I can restore access or provide a replacement copy.
Screening-required services
The Private 3-Day Federal Prison Preparation service requires screening before purchase. If it is purchased before screening and I determine that the service is not an appropriate fit, the payment will be refunded.
If I cannot provide the service
If a scheduling error, technical problem, or other issue on my end prevents delivery, I will offer a reasonable rescheduling option or refund the undelivered portion.
Refund timing
Approved refunds are submitted to the original payment method. Please allow up to 10 business days after approval for processing. Your bank or card provider may require additional time to post the credit.
