Terms of service

Effective date: September 4, 2026

These terms apply to the Federal Prison Preparation website, consultations, coaching services, courses, and digital materials. By purchasing or using a service, you agree to these terms.

Nature of the services

I provide educational, experience-based guidance drawn from firsthand federal custody experience. Services may include practical preparation, coaching, family preparation, self-surrender preparation, daily-routine guidance, exercise routines, and general information about adjusting to federal custody.

I am not an attorney, medical professional, mental-health professional, or employee or representative of the Federal Bureau of Prisons. My services are not legal, medical, psychological, tax, or financial advice.

Nothing I provide guarantees a particular sentence, designation, custody level, facility, program placement, sentence reduction, release date, safety outcome, or other result. Rules and conditions vary and may change.

When coaching may begin

Coaching may begin during pretrial, after sentencing, or at another point before a client enters custody. I do not begin new coaching relationships with people who are already in custody.

Booking and screening

The free 30-minute consultation allows a potential client to ask questions and determine whether my services may be helpful.

Some services, including the Private 3-Day Federal Prison Preparation service, require screening and approval before purchase. I may decline a service when the requested work is outside my experience, creates a safety concern, presents a conflict, or is otherwise not an appropriate fit.

Purchases and payment

Current prices and service descriptions are displayed on the website. Payment may be made through the available Shopify checkout methods. Zelle may also be accepted upon request after payment details are confirmed directly with me.

Payment plans are not offered. Any travel expenses or additional costs associated with an in-person service outside the San Francisco Bay Area must be agreed upon before booking.

Client responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate contact, scheduling, and payment information.
  • Consulting their attorney about legal questions and following official instructions from counsel, the court, the U.S. Marshals Service, or the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
  • Using the information responsibly and lawfully.
  • Attending scheduled appointments or providing notice when rescheduling or cancelling.

I may end a consultation or coaching relationship involving threats, harassment, unlawful requests, dishonesty that materially affects the service, or conduct that creates a safety concern. Any refund for an undelivered portion will be handled under the Return and Refund Policy.

Consultations and availability

I provide services throughout the United States by telephone and video. I can meet San Francisco Bay Area clients in person. Clients may also travel to me, or I may travel outside the Bay Area when arranged and approved in advance.

Digital materials

Courses, PDFs, and other preparation materials are for the purchaser’s personal use. They may not be copied, resold, publicly posted, distributed, or used to create competing materials without written permission.

Privacy and confidentiality

I treat consultation information with care and use it as described in the Privacy Policy. However, my services do not create attorney-client privilege or another legally privileged professional relationship.

Cancellations and refunds

Rescheduling, cancellation, and refund terms are explained in the Return and Refund Policy.

Website availability and third-party links

I try to keep the website and digital materials available and accurate, but I cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or that every piece of information will remain current. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience and do not make me responsible for their content or practices.

Limitation of responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Federal Prison Preparation is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from reliance on educational information, third-party services, institutional decisions, or circumstances outside my reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be waived.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated when services, policies, or legal requirements change. The effective date will identify the latest version.
